Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress, best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio dropped out of high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. The year 2001 was a difficult one for her, but despite financial struggles she managed to secure her first big performance in the video online show Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's main character. Following her win of an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her portrayal of Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace was able to win. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost on which she was the main actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. Grace was a co-star with Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, decided to make the move to film. In 2007, she was as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and, opposite Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. The same character was played by Grace as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two more episodes of Lost including the series finale. In 2013, she appears in the episode Californianation of the 6th season. She is Faith as a girl who serves as a model for the stars and catches the attention of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens her career began as a small part-time actress for her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko along with her twin brother. She then appeared on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated to win a Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) and in the romance comedy Secretary (2002). Both films were critically acclaimed. The year 2006 was the time she starred in a number of commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However it was her performance as Rachel Dawes that brought her wider attention in The Dark Knight (2008). The role she played in Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child received her a nomination for the Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. Then she was in comedies and dramas such as Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Her other roles are as an agent for the Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared as a vocalist in Frank 2014, and in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the main role. The debut of Gyllenhaal as a filmmaker and writer was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama in which she won the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. In addition, she won the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
