Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classic, old boleros along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is a lover of tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. At age 16 she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. Following her move from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. She is involved with many local projects and is a teacher and performer because of her love for art and music. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
